Cebu's Best Rico's Lechon By The Bay
Before heading to Cebu for a business trip this week, I had the chance to indulge in a sumptuous meal at Rico's Lechon's fifth store in Manila. It is located at SM Mall of Asia Complex, Level 1, South Wing, Seaside Avenue in Pasay. What’s more satisfying than biting into the Queen City’s iconic spicy lechon as you soak up the famous Manila Bay sunset, right?
And guess what? Sir Rico, owner of Rico's Lechon, was there during the opening and he personally helped me and my fellow bloggers with food plating for our flat lay photos. His hardworking and humble attitude as an entrepreneur is truly inspiring to anyone who would want to fulfill his or her passion in the food business.
Not to mention, Sir Rico also showcased Rico's Lechon's all-new specialty dishes to please every palate, such as the sinigang boneless bangus, sizzling chicken steak, tortang talong with lechon, fried chicken coated with homestyle sauce, and the lechon fingers with sweet and sour sauce.
More shake flavors have been added as well, like mocha, cookies and cream, fruity strawberry, bloody watermelon, and sago at gulaman.
While for those looking for an afternoon fill, Rico’s Lechon is now offering a merienda selection of senior pit lechon mami, lechon arrozcaldo, lechsilog (lechon, sinangag, at itlog), diniguan at puto, and a set of dinuguan, puto, at plain rice
Of course, you can't leave the place without ordering the original lechon and the spicy lechon. The consistent serving of meat with crispy skin is just divine. I am looking forward to eating more Rico's Lechon when I get to Cebu. But honestly, I'm just so glad that Rico's Lechon is at arms reach here in Manila with more and more branches opening. This proves that Rico’s Lechon continues to be“Da best gyud!”.
