Althea X Titi Kamal Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist & Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser

It was Christmas time when Althea Korea sent me their latest products for review. Since I was excited to try what's in it, I brought the box with me to Paris. The box contained the Althea Korea x Titi Kamal Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist and a Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser.

The Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist is actually Althea Korea's FIRST BODY MIST AND FIRST CELEBRITY COLLABORATION and it's with Indonesia's talented movie star and singer, Titi Kamal. Yep, their products are not just limited to skin care now.

The body mist is a delightful mix of floral and fruity scents which consists of sweet orange, peach, and rose. Honestly, I'm not fond of perfumes because some perfumes trigger my allergies depending on how strong the scent is. Good thing Althea Korea x Titi Kamal Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist has that fresh out of the shower feeling and does not leave a strong powerful scent. Its lightweight fragrance makes sense since it is a body mist and not a perfume. So wearing this body mist everyday would be something you should consider. Not to mention, it comes in a perfectly sized container so it's easy to fit in your handbag or travel carry-on. If you are looking for affordable yet worth the hype body mist, you can avail of this for only Php450 (100ml). The Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser on the other hand is a 2-in-1 formula: A purifying cleanser and serum that removes makeup, dirt and oil while ensuring the skin stays cool and hydrated through out the day. The solution is made up of mint leaf extracts to cool down the skin and sooth irritations, Jojoba seed oil that deeply moisturizes any dryness, and tea tree leaf extract that has antibacterial properties to purify the skin.

Since I was in a different country for weeks, I had different skin conditions. The Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser helped maintain a healthy pH balance of my skin as well as moisturize the dryness on my face due to the cold weather. I've tried it as a makeup remover and as a cleanser and it works both ways. Here's how:

To remove makeup:

Step 1: Pour an adequate amount of the product onto the palm of your hand.

Step 2: Massage the product all over your skin in circular motions to remove dirt and makeup.

Step 3: Rinse off the residue with water. You may also use a second cleanser to completely remove any residue.

To cleanse the skin:

Step 1: Dampen the skin and apply an adequate amount of the product onto the palm of your hand.

Step 2: Gently massage the product all over your skin in circular motions for 5-10 seconds before rinsing it off with water.

Although the size of the bottle is perfect for travel use, I am not a fan of the lid since it loosens and spills while in transit. I would prefer a pump bottle over an cap lid bottle for this type of product. Other than that, everything is in tip top shape.
