These Women Are #StrongerNow With Pantene Pro-Vitamin Series
Filipinas live in a tiis-ganda culture where they go through lengths of unimaginable pain to look beautiful. Any sign of imperfection is tucked away, concealed. A scar is covered with makeup, a struggle is hidden with a smile when it should be embraced as a mark of triumph.
With that in mind, Pantene Philippines launched its #StrongerNow movement last Tuesday featuring struggles to success stories from Anne Curtis-Smith and Gabbi Garcia and a whole lot more to help boost the confidence of women to love their own version of beauty.
Anne Curtis-Smith shared how she was criticized for her passion in performing and not being able to speak Tagalog fluently but with her patience and willingness to learn her craft in show business, she is now on top of her game. She is now ANNEstoppable.
Gabbi Garcia on the other hand was a shy girl who was insecure about her looks and morena skin. Instead of continuing to doubt herself, she believed in her strengths and stayed true to herself. Self-doubt to self-worth, indeed!
They were joined by Pantene Philippines' brand ambassadors Anna Cay, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Chi and Gabs Gibbs, Dennise Lazaro, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Joyce Pring and Say Tioco to inspire Filipinas to celebrate every scar, every sweat, every struggle that made them the kind of strong they are now.
Kevin Balot, the first Filipina transgender, talked about her journey before she bagged Ms. International Queen 2012 title and Stacy and Danah Gutierrez of Plump Pinay inspired us with their body positivity advocacy.
Just like them, I have faced many problems, been back-stabbed & hurt, and encountered the worst humans in this world, but I survived. Facing life's challenges have changed me in many ways, but I will always choose to keep moving forward. As cliche as it may sound, I believe in the saying, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." In fact, every struggle, loss, defeat, and suffering I encountered made me who I am today. We are all #StrongerNow.
These are encouraging stories from all walks of life that everyone needed to hear and it runs parallel to the benefit that Pantene Pro-Vitamin shampoo and 3 Minute Miracle conditioner give to women. You are stronger after every struggle, just like how your hair is made stronger with every wash. It gives better lather, has magical detangling water-activated cushion and strengthens hair to have less hair fall.
The Pantene Pro-Vitamin series strengthens hair against breakage with every wash, much like the women it supports—stronger with every damage. These come in the following variants: Hair Fall Control, Total Damage Care, Silky Smooth Care, and Color Protect. Each 170ml Pro-Vitamin shampoo retails for PHP109 and 150ml 3 Minute Miracle for PHP149 with exclusive discounts and bundle sets on LAZADA.
