Nature Republic's Top-Selling Beauty Products

Annyeonghaseyo! Nature Republic just opened its 11th branch here in the Philippines at the Uptown Mall BGC. So happy that this Korean beauty brand expanded from their first launch in Festival Mall Alabang in year 2011.

To recap what happened during the launch, Nature Republic gave away some EXO (famous Kpop group) merchandise as freebies to the first 100 customers who wore green and bought anything from the store. They even raffled off a life-sized EXO standee and this lucky girl won it. There were also free makeovers, free eyebrow grooming, and they slashed off 10% on all regular priced items. So much promos and discounts, it was a total blast!

For those who upgraded their purchases like me and spent more than a thousand pesos, we got to take home Nature Republic Starter Kits which are very practical since these come in travel-sized bottles so I can easily bring it with me everywhere.

Of course, I couldn't resist and got some goodies for myself. Here are my favorites from the loot:

1. Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

Talk of the town and definitely the holy grail. It is made up of 92% organic aloe vera gel from aloe vera plants that soothes, hydrates and moisturizes the skin. I had high hopes for this product and it didn't disappoint. The gel consistency is non-oily and I love the cooling sensation on my face when applied. It comes in a 300ml tub (Php245) and now also available in a 250ml tube (Php295).

And did you know? You can also apply it to your whole body and hair. That's why it sells like hotcakes, most especially during summer time.

Do note that there are a lot of imitations of this specific product in a tub. Remember, those imitations do not have the same natural ingredients as Nature Republic's and will not give you the best results. Make sure to purchase only from official Nature Republic stores and check the label at the back. If you spot 2 recycle signs on the bottom right of the packaging, it's fake.

2. California Aloe Vera 74 Cooling Eye Serum

Their claim to fame is that it moisturizes and reduces fine wrinkles around the eyes. To apply, massage your tired under eye with the 3 metal balls as applicator. Me and my blogger friend, Shayne tried it and it really has a cooling effect. About reducing fine wrinkles, let's see how it goes for me.

3. Real Nature Sheet Masks

As you all know, I'm a sucker for sheet masks and Real Nature Sheet Masks are effective and surprisingly affordable at only Php55 per pack. Get a good deal by availing of the 10+10 promo for only Php550 (Buy 10 masks of the same kind and get 10 masks for free) which are prepacked already. I chose the Royal Jelly variant and got the Snail masks for free.

4. Super Aqua Max Fresh Watery Cream

The packaging is quite a charmer, isn't it? Aside from the cute packaging, this beauty product caters to different skin types: pink for normal to dry skin, green for combination skin, and blue for oily skin. I tested the creams and the light texture of the blue version is something I'd like to use.

5. Super Origin Color Change CC Cream

Moving on to make up, Nature Republic also has an outstanding make up line especially their BB and CC creams. I call this my second skin. Color Change CC Cream really lives up to its name because it follows your skin color whether you're morena, chinita or mestiza. It has a very light coverage compared to the BB creams, appears to have a dewy glow after applying and even has SPF30++.
