Obsessed With Gingham Prints
Gingham is a lightweight cotton fabric with a checkered pattern. Before it became a classic option for clothing, it was often used as table cloths, aprons and blankets for decades. And now, it has been showing up on everything: men's shirts, crop tops, school uniforms, dress designs, blazers, trousers and even swimwear.
This trend has been going on and I believe there is no sign of it slowing down. Right now, I am clearly head over heels for gingham prints in 2-piece suits (blazers and trousers). Here's how I styled this vintage staple with a modern twist.
For a more casual street wear look, I wore my 2-piece gingham suit with a plain shirt and white sneakers. Clean and simple.
Blazer: H&M Korea KRW24,000
Shirt: no brand , Php100
Trousers: Forever 21, SALE at Php500
Sneakers: adidas, Php3,000
To look more presentable for an event or in my case for my grandmother's birthday party, another way of wearing it is with a blouse and strappy heels.
Blouse: no brand, Php150
Trousers: Forever 21, SALE at Php500
Strappy heels: no brand, Php450
Necklace: vintage hand-me-down from my mom
