Buca di Beppo: New Home For Pinoy Celebrations
We Filipinos love to eat and the delight of eating has always been there to make family and community bonds stronger especially this holiday season! If you're looking for a place to hold your family dinners, reunions, Christmas parties etc., you are in for a treat because Buca di Beppo® just opened in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig!
Buca literally means “hole,” or the Tuscan slang for basement or cellar. Beppo is a nickname for Guiseppe, the Italian form of Joseph in Northern Italy.
So what makes Buca di Beppo® stand out from other Italian restaurants? Brace yourselves as I spill the beans on why it is a new home for celebrations!
GENEROUS SERVINGS
Buca di Beppo®'s servings per dish are perfect for groups having family gatherings, reunions and/or any celebration. Although their dishes are quite pricey, the quality of food and serving are value for money. The small portion is good for 2-3 pax, the medium for 4-6 pax and the large serving can satisfy 10-12 people. Just take a look at this mouthwatering large serving of their Lasagna with towering layers of meat sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, provolone and parmessan! You better bring your appetite for this.

Not only that, Buca uses fresh ingredients to create authentic Italian dishes and a twist on classic favorites. What's more awesome is that their own original Buca Tomato Sauce was even brought here.
To top it off, desserts like Tiramisu are available for all the sweet tooth out there.
With the dishes suited to the Filipino taste, Pinoy diners will surely fall in love with the food!
PROFESSIONAL STAFF
Buca chefs and servers from U.S.A. came to Manila and made sure to train the local staff in preparation for the opening. They were also very welcoming and helpful in any way possible. Add to that, the staff even gave us a taste of entertainment by chanting their Buca cheer. It does feel like home dining at Buca di Beppo®.

INSTAGRAMMABLE INTERIORS
Millennials, I'm sure this is something you're excited about aside from the food. Worry not, every angle in Buca di Beppo® is Instagrammable. From the walls and ceilings, to the statues, memorabilia and tiles! There are over 2,500 photos in their collection that were posted around the place.
ROOMS FOR OCCASIONS
Whether it is a table for 2 or 20, Buca has a room for every occasion. There are different rooms for any size celebrations.
The Wine Room features a ceiling covered in a variety of great wines and Italian bottles and it can fit at least 20 people.
Hosting a party of 30-40 pax can fit at the Poster Room. This room is surrounded with photos of celebrities and personalities like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert De Niro, and basketball players like Shaquille O'neal who all go to Buca in the U.S.
You can also be seated at the Chef's Table right beside the kitchen where you can directly interact with the chefs. This area can fit up to 8 people.
The Pope Room can accommodate 8 people as well. Have your meal under the watchful eye of several eminent popes. This room was created since Big Joe, the legendary Beppo who started this, got busy and couldn't go to church. He then brought them into his restaurant.
Another 20 people can fit in the Gangster Room, which displays images and memorabilia of the notorious and infamous.
There's a special booth for Lovers who want a more intimate dining experience too.
Indeed, the Buca di Beppo® experience is both a culinary and a visual feast. And as groups of diners sit in any of the restaurant’s rooms, reveling in the ambiance, they are transported to an Italian world where family and hearty Italian food are celebrated.
If you ask me, my personal favorites are the Spaghetti and meatballs because there's nothing like it and the Fettucine Alfredo's creaminess reminds me of my mom's cooking.
